Bad Santa.........haha!

Our little family has been in Riverside 2nd Ward since July and WE LOVE it! Shortly after my son passed they called me to be the Primary Pianist. I was excited because that was my calling in our last ward and I LOVED it. I'm glad I was called to the Piano, because I don't have a Piano, but it helps me remember HOW to play. :)

Our Kids....

Tupou's
This last Saturday our Primary went caroling to the widows in the ward. I'm sure it brought the Christmas Spirit to the widows. The kids enjoyed it and sang w/ their hearts! It was FUN! Afterwards we went to church for lunch and a special friend came to visit. SANTA CLAUSE!

After Santa was finished giving gifts to all the boys and girls it was time for him to leave. As he was exiting the gym Santa took off his hat and beard. My two younger kids pointed to him and said.......That's not Santa! Thanks a lot Amoni. I mean Santa! Bad Santa! hahahahaha! I told Santa's wife that because he did that my kids are wondering if Santa was REAL. OMG! I had to tell them that it was Santa's helper. hahahhaha! My daughter also says that Santa is white. hahahahha!

We played games, sang songs, and enjoyed each others company. Thanks Riverside 2nd Primary! It was a blast! :)

Our Angel's headstone

Four months ago our youngest child Siosaia Tevita Tukuafu passed away. I can't believe it's already been 4 months. Seems like yesterday that I was holding him in my arms. I was sitting in his room the other day and pulled his laundry basket out of the closet. I pulled out one of the blankets from his basket and held it close to my face. Remembering how he smelled, how soft his skin was and his eyes.

Last Thursday we got a call from the guy working on my sons headstone saying it's done and should be up that same day. We went up only to find the base granite up and was told that it would be up for sure on Friday. We went on on Friday and found his headstone in place. The only thing that we are waiting on is his picture which will go right under his name.

FROSTY THE SNOWMAN....

We have been trying to build a snowman with the kids for sometime, but every time we tried it just fell apart. The snow was too soft! Not sure how many times we tried, but the kids finally gave in and it just got too cold to build frosty the snowman.

Yesterday the kids and I spent the evening at my Mom's house while Peni, his brother and Saia Jr. chilled at home. As we were getting closer to our house we see Peau, Peni and Saia Jr. doin' sumn' in da front yard. We pull in the driveway and see Peau and Saia building a snowman. Peni just supervising. :) A good thing-cause he's not suppose to be workin' too hard. Yes, the snowman is hard work. ;)

December already?

Wow! December already? Time sure does fly. Our little family has been through so much this year, but we don't complain about anything that's thrown at us. We are given trials to make us better and stronger people. We have been blessed with wonderful family to lift us up and help us along the way.

It's a little over 2 weeks since Peni had surgery to remove a tumor from his head(pituitary gland) and he's doing great so far. His Neurologist has advised him to do a lot of walking. So he's been keeping up w/ that and of coarse taking it easy. He is sick of sitting in the house, so he wanted to take the kiddyz and his brother Peau to see the lights at temple square.

One for the ladies................bwahahaha! My brother inlaw who is single and AVAILABLE! haha!

It was a cold night but we dressed up warm and enjoyed the lights and walk. The kids were excited to see the different nativity displays. It was a great reminder to them of why we really celebrate Christmas.

Our family has truly been blessed in many ways. We have great support from everyone around us. When we found out that Peni had a tumor we were both out of work trying to get him through this. Now that he seems to be doing a lot better, I had to step it up and return to work.  It's amazing how well his recovery has been. The 1st week was the toughest, but he seems to be doing better each day. His sense of humor and teasing is back....Missed it!

Yes kids! 23 more days of Christmas. :)

Cant believe it's December again......I'm looking forward for a NEW YEAR! :)
